Everything was super good! We were 3 ans for everything in the pictures it was around 80€ so 26€ per person but we even took home some leftovers and also had drinks. For the bbq we had 2 portions of the beef bulgogi, 1 of the pork belly Aditional we had: 1 gimbab (the rolls), 1 portion of chicken wings, 1 portion of jajamyeong, and the cold soup. So yes great food and good prices.

A few years ago, I discovered Korean cuisine with bibimbap and bulgogi. I loved both and I decided to try more of it. At that time, there were very few Korean restaurants in Barcelona. But nowadays, they're pretty common. So I'm trying them all . As part of that quest, a few weeks ago, I met for lunch with a couple of friends at Shingané. Shingané offers a lunch special for €12.5, which is a pretty standard price for lunch specials in Barcelona. What's less standard is the quantity of food you get for that price: a big first course, a huge main course and a dessert (or a coffee). To be honest, it's not even worth ordering the whole menu because you eat more than enough with a bibimbap which onlys costs €8.5. Plus the desserts included in the menu are not Korean desserts... We got to try the kimbap, which was ok, fried dumplings that were great and a very good bibimbap. It was very good, as I said, but it lacked some X factor to make it great. But let's be honest, for such a price, there's nothing to complain about. The atmosphere of the venue is kind of kitsch and the service is decent, a bit cold but efficient. Overall a great cheap and tasty lunch. Quality & taste: 8/10 Quantities: 10/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Originality: 7/10 Ratio price / quality: 10/10 Service: 7/10 How I felt afterwards: 8/10 More on IG @runnerandfoodie

Good Korean restaurant with large variety of dishes, good set up for Korean barbecue at the table. The only thing is the dishes that supposed to be spicy hot are not spicy hot other than that it’s perfect.

Shingane, nestled in the vibrant L'Eixample district of Barcelona, stands out as a noteworthy destination for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. This restaurant skillfully blends authenticity with ample portions and affordable prices, making it an inviting choice for both newcomers and seasoned fans of Korean flavors.

One of Shingane's highlights is its Korean barbecue experience. Diners can enjoy grilled delicacies such as beef bulgogi and pork belly, cooked right at the table, which speaks to both freshness and engagement in the meal. The quality of ingredients shines through in dishes like the spicy beef soup, praised for its balanced flavors and freshness without overwhelming heat. This thoughtful seasoning approach makes the food approachable without compromising on taste.

The menu is diverse, offering classics like bibimbap, which delivers satisfying flavor and quantity—evident from patrons who find that even ordering just bibimbap is enough for a filling lunch. Alongside, side dishes like kimbap and crispy fried dumplings bring variety, although some customers note a lack of that elusive "X factor" that elevates each bite to unforgettable heights. Nonetheless, the generous portions and wallet-friendly pricing create excellent value, especially in Barcelona's competitive food scene.

While the restaurant's atmosphere leans toward kitsch and the service is efficient yet somewhat reserved, these elements hardly detract from the overall dining experience. The friendly staff and prompt service ensure a smooth visit, whether you're enjoying a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner.

In sum, Shingane delivers a solid Korean culinary experience marked by fresh ingredients, generous servings, and budget-conscious pricing. Whether savoring the barbecue feast or sampling the warm, flavorful soups, visitors can expect satisfying comfort food that reflects genuine Korean traditions with a local Barcelona twist.
